When most or all of your teeth need replacing
All on 4 dental implants perth is a search most people run when they are past the point of replacing one or two teeth. Full-arch tooth loss is a different problem, and it needs a different answer than a single implant or a bridge.
It also becomes more common with age. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare’s *National Study of Adult Oral Health 2017-18* found complete tooth loss rises from 1.1% at ages 35 to 54, to 8.1% at 55 to 74, to 21% at 75 and over. That climb reflects decades of decay, gum disease and past dental work catching up at once, not a single event.

The All-on-4 protocol, plainly explained
All-on-4 is the well-known, widely used full-arch technique: four dental implants placed in one jaw, supporting one fixed bridge across the whole arch. It is the standard, most-requested option for patients who are missing, or close to missing, all of the teeth in one jaw and want a fixed result rather than a removable one.
Because the technique uses exactly four implants in set positions, it is a well-established protocol with a long track record, rather than something planned from scratch for every case.

How four implants support a full arch
The All-on-4 technique is named for a specific implant layout, not a general idea.
Two implants are placed straight, near the front of the jaw. Two more are placed at an angle, further back, in areas of the jaw that often have stronger bone even after other teeth are lost.
Together, the four implants support one fixed bridge covering the full arch. The angled back implants are what let four implants, not six or eight, carry a full arch, by making better use of the bone that is usually still available at the back of the jaw.
Why some cases need a different implant count
All-on-4 works because it fits a common pattern of bone in the jaw. Not every case fits that pattern. Bone quality and jaw structure vary from patient to patient, and some patients are assessed as needing a different number of implants to get adequate support for a full-arch bridge.

Your bridge, designed and milled on site
The fixed bridge that sits on your four implants is designed and milled by our own in-house dental lab, not sent to an outside lab and back. That keeps the fit and finish of the bridge under one roof and, where your case allows, supports fitting a temporary bridge on the same day your implants are placed.

Your bridge, and when a titanium bar is needed
All-on-4 is completed with a zirconia bridge, milled in our in-house lab. There is no acrylic option on this package, and no titanium bar is included. Whether a bar is needed is a clinical decision made at your assessment, and where a case needs one it is covered by the All-on-X package.

All-on-4 does not include a titanium bar. Where a case needs one, it is covered by the All-on-X package at $21,990 per arch. Your clinician confirms whether your case needs one at your assessment.
Can All-on-4 be completed in a single visit?
Same-day treatment depends on your case. When bone quality and healing conditions support it, implants can be placed and a temporary bridge fitted in the same visit, with the final bridge to follow once healing is complete. This is never assumed for every patient, and it is confirmed at consultation, not promised in advance.

Cosmetic dentistry alongside a full-arch rebuild
All-on-4 changes the arch itself. Some patients pair that treatment with teeth whitening or Invisalign for the surrounding smile, since a new arch does not change teeth in the opposite jaw.
